Update: 2020 NUCA Washington Summit Goes Virtual

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the format of the September 21-23 Washington Summit is being changed to accommodate the public access situation on Capitol Hill. Congressional offices on Capitol Hill remain closed to the public and will be for the foreseeable future.

Some offices on the Hill are planning for an extended public closure for the rest of the year, while others remain uncertain about their September office schedule. These unknowns are driving other associations to explore holding virtual meetings with their House and Senate lawmakers and staffs. To reflect this new situation, NUCA will also hold its 2020 Washington Summit virtually.

Details are forthcoming but mark your calendars now to attend the Summit virtually on Wednesday, September 23.

Summit registration remains open, with all updated information to be posted on the 2020 Washington Summit webpage. We hope that you'll be able to attend this unique advocacy experience.

Learn more about NUCA

The National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) works to ensure that legislators understand the important role that our industry plays in keeping the country healthy, clean, and prosperous.

They ask that you share your stories to persuade Congress that they must act to improve our nation’s underground infrastructure. Only you can deliver your personal expertise to your lawmaker's offices--they need to hear about your experiences. Those personal stories persuade lawmakers, especially when you are their constituent.
