Andrew Alexander, Core & Main

My name is Andrew Alexander and I am studying Computer Engineering as a part of the EXCEL program at the University of Central Florida(Go Knights!). With this course of study I want to gain skills associated with computer and server construction, and will be seeking an internship following my sophomore year of college. Technology has always been of interest to me, and I plan to be on the tip of the spear when it comes to new advancements in the computing world.

Dylan Carlos, Ferguson Waterworks

My name is Dylan Carlos, and I am heading into my freshman year of college at Florida Gulf Coast University. At FGCU I plan on majoring in Exercise Science and pursuing a career in either Physical Therapy or Athletic Training. In these next few years, I plan on volunteering in the community and interning at a program relating to Physical Therapy or Athletic Training. At FGCU, I plan on being involved in student life, such as playing on the club basketball team. I love the opportunity to help others in the community especially through my interests, such as sports and exploring the outdoors. I am grateful for the Matt Stager Memorial Scholarship that has been awarded to me.

Jack Seigworth, Core & Main

Dear WASDA Committee –

My name is Jack Seigworth and I’m a 2022 graduate of Valley Christian High School in Chandler, AZ. I graduated with a 4.02 GPA and was a member of the National Honor Society. I was a four year member of the Robotics Team which inspired my love of design and engineering. I was fortunate to participate in our school's Engage Program and had the opportunity to travel to Curaçao twice on mission trips. In the fall, I am looking forward to attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ where I will be studying Aerospace Engineering.

I am very excited to be furthering my education and would like to thank WASDA for choosing me to receive the Matt Stager Memorial Scholarship. This generous scholarship will definitely help me pursue my dream of becoming an engineer.

Best regards
