Benefits FAQsHow can WASDA help my company gain access to leaders in the water and waste water industry? The best way to access key industry leaders is through the Partnership Forum at the Fall Meeting each year. The Partnership Forum is the most cost-effective opportunity for distributors and manufacturers to conduct business. Having key industry leaders all in one place dramatically reduces the time and cost to visit each company individually.
How will I know what is going on in WASDA?The WASDA Works, our monthly e-newsletter, contains a variety of information on what is happening within WASDA and the industry as a whole. WASDA also keeps members in the know of any pertinent legislative issues that may affect the water and waste water industries. As always be sure to visit the WASDA website often as new information will be posted continuously.
How will WASDA increase my company’s exposure?WASDA provides a Membership Directory annually that provides key contact information for the company as well as brief bio about the company. An interactive “Find a Member” map on the homepage of the website provides additional exposure to members and customers. Additionally, members are encouraged to submit company press releases that may be included in the WASDA Works e-newsletter.
What type of industry information does WASDA provide?WASDA provides distributor members with the chance to participate in the annual Statistical Survey, providing key benchmarking data which allows members to better understand how their business performed as compared to others. All data is collected by a third-party firm and is held confidentially.
Does WASDA provide any professional development for its members?Yes! WASDA has the Future Leaders Council (FLC), which takes the next generation of leaders or those new to the industry and provides educational opportunities to further enhance their skills to climb the company ladder. In addition, members have the opportunity to attend the Annual Meeting where additional professional development opportunities through educational speakers and industry forums are available.
