WASDA Scholarship Recipients 2022

The WASDA Scholarship Fund Board of Directors proudly awards the following students with $1,000 to use toward higher education!  Each scholarship is renewable for up to four years based on maintaining a 3.0 GPA (or higher). The Recipients of the WASDA Scholarship for 2022 are listed below:

 

Brooklyn BoscoCore & Main

My name is Brooklyn Bosco. I recently graduated from Canon City High School in Colorado. I was in the top 3% of my class, National Honor Society president, and a member of the environmental club. During high school I participated in a variety of community service events and an internship with the Colorado Springs Dermatology Clinic where I completed over 70 hours of work. I will be the first in my family to obtain a 4-year degree and higher. I plan to accomplish this at Colorado Mesa University where I will get my bachelors in nursing, then go on to PA school.

My name is Kate Howard and I have recently graduated from Clarksville High School in Clarksville, TN. I am excited to attend the University of Evansville this fall where I will be studying Logistics and Supply Chain Management. During my high school years I was on the varsity basketball team and graduated in the top twenty of my class. I was a member of National Honor Society as well as the National Technical Honor society. I was also a part of the Business Academy for all four years. I look forward to furthering my business education in college.

Meghan Meehan, Core & Main

My name is Meghan Meehan. I graduated from Bishop DuBourg High School in St. Louis, MO as the class Valedictorian. I was captain of my Varsity Tennis Team, and active in theater both on stage and as a stage manager. I will be attending Webster University, where I plan to study English Literature and International Relations. I am planning to study abroad for several semesters in different locations throughout the world.

Hello, my name is Kylie Ramsey, and I am from Dover, MN! I am a graduate from Dover Eyota High School. I participated in many extra curriculars such as basketball, soccer, band, choir, Minnesota Honor Society, and student council. Throughout these activities it has made me into a strong, hardworking, goal driven, and determined individual. I am excited to pursue a career in Accounting and Finance which will hopefully lead me to a lifelong career. This coming fall I will be attending Flagler College in Saint Augustine, FL. I am beyond excited to go adventures of life and expand my life skills.
