Hailey Novak, L/B Water Service, Inc.

Hello, my name is Hailey Novak, daughter of Tyler Novak who is the manager at LB Water Stoneboro. I have just graduated from Reynolds Junior/ Senior High School with academic honors. In high school I was the founder and president of Library Club and secretary of Student Council. I played softball and ran cross country for a couple of years but had to stop due to an injury. I love to be outdoors, hiking, playing games, fishing, camping, or shooting my bow. As amazing as my high school years were, I am ready to start a new adventure into the collegiate system. I will attend the University of Pittsburgh Johnstown in the fall and study civil engineering while living on campus. I plan on getting involved with the student government and the campus ministries. Thanks to this scholarship this exciting new journey has gotten even better.

Madison Townsend, Ferguson

My name is Madison, or Mady, Townsend, and I am so honored to have been chosen as the winner of the Matt Stager Memorial Scholarship. I have grown up with my father being an associate of WASDA my whole life, and both me and my family are beyond grateful to be awarded with this amazing and distinct scholarship. With the aid of this scholarship, I am going to pursue my higher education in the field of STEM, studying psychology to become a psychiatrist. In the future I plan on using the money I earn through my pursuits to give back to this company, aiming to show gratitude to those who truly value hard work, dedication, and integrity.

Marissa Vaught, Coburn Supply Company, Inc.

My short-term goal is to attend Texas A&M University in College Station in the Fall. I will be pursuing a degree in Business at Mays Business School for 4 years. I plan to continue participating in extra-curricular activities, religious organizations, work-study, internships, and networking groups.  Immediately after graduating with my bachelor’s degree, I plan to obtain my master’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M. I want to live somewhere in Texas, get married and start a family.

My long-term goal is to eventually start my own business. It is my hope that my business would be able to give back to the community in the same way that many businesses have done in the past, such as providing a needed service, employing individuals within the community, making monetary donations to schools and charities and awarding scholarships to exemplary students. In ten years, I should have obtained my bachelor's and master's degrees and have a job where I can continue learning about the business world. I will hopefully be married and have started my family as well.
