My name is Isabella Austin, and I am incredibly honored and grateful to have received the Matt Stager Memorial Scholarship. I recently graduated from Donelson Christian Academy in Nashville, where I earned academic honors and completed dual enrollment coursework. I also was a part of both the soccer and basketball teams all four years. This fall, I will be attending Tennessee Tech University to major in Nursing. I have a strong passion for nursing, especially pediatrics, and I hope to build a career caring for and supporting children and their families. I am excited for this next chapter and grateful for the opportunity to continue learning, growing, and serving others.

Riley Phillips, F.W. Webb Company

My name is Riley Phillips and I got the honor to receive the Matt Stager Memorial Scholarship. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to apply and accept this award due to the WASDA membership of my fathers employer F.W. Webb Company. I graduated from Blue Ridge High School this past June, and I am attending Penn State University majoring in Kinesiology on a pre/med track to hopefully become a pediatrician. This scholarship will help me lower my overall tuition debt and help me focus on my studies rather than focusing on the financial aspect of attending this university.
