The WASDA Scholarship Fund Board of Directors proudly awards the following students with $2,500 to use toward higher education! Each scholarship is renewable for up to four years based on maintaining a 3.0 GPA (or higher). The Recipients of the WASDA Scholarship for 2026 are listed below:

Isabel Bhatia, Neenah Foundry
My name is Isabel Bhatia, and I will be attending Vanderbilt University in the fall. I plan to major in cognitive studies and neuroscience with minors in business and innovation/design strategy. My intention is to understand how the human brain makes decisions and solves problems as technology becomes more prevalent. Thank you to WASDA for supporting my educational journey!

Hello! My name is Genevieve Claire Gagne. Both of my parents work for Coburn Supply Company. My father is a buyer and my mother is a marketing coordinator. I am incredibly honored to have been awarded the WASDA Scholarship.
I graduated Cum Laude from Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School and plan to continue my education within the Texas A&M University System. I will begin my college journey at Tarleton State University through the Program for System Admission (PSA) with the goal of transitioning to Texas A&M University in the fall of 2027 to complete my degree in Nutrition.
I have always been passionate about helping others live healthier and more balanced lives. My goal is to become a registered dietitian and eventually open my own practice where I can support people in improving their health and overall quality of life through nutrition and sustainable lifestyle habits. I am excited to gain the knowledge and experience that will prepare me to make a meaningful difference in others’ lives.

Hello my name is Nate Grandusky. I want to first thank the WASDA committee for selecting me for the WASDA scholarship. It’s something I’m deeply grateful for. My WASDA member company is Ferguson Enterprises. I am attending Florida State University in the fall and studying sportscasting in communications. Throughout high school, I took rigorous IB and AP classes while being involved in school clubs and sports. I also did several volunteer opportunities with my church and clubs at school. I hope to continue my strong work ethic and dedication to helping my community in Tallahassee, and receiving this scholarship would allow me to fulfill those dreams. This scholarship would allow me to continue to pursue my goals as a sports broadcaster and maintain good grades in school. I again thank WASDA for supporting me in my future and awarding me this scholarship. It’s truly an honor to receive it

Hello! I’m Presley, and I’m very honored to have been selected for this scholarship opportunity. It is such a blessing to receive such a generous contribution to my education, and I’m very grateful to WASDA for this gift. This scholarship will be going towards my tuition to Clemson University! I plan on majoring in Marketing, and I’m working out what my minor will be! I also plan on joining one of the many choir programs offered because I love to sing! Another few things about me are that I love to listen to music and watch movies in my free time, I really enjoy traveling, and I’m very involved in my local church! I am super excited for the next chapter of my life, and I can’t wait to see what God has planned for me! Thank you again to WASDA for the scholarship!
