WASDA Scholarship Recipients – Renewal Process

It’s time to renew your WASDA Scholarship!

In order to renew your scholarship with the WASDA Scholarship Fund, you must submit your Official College Transcript online that displays 3.0 or higher GPA as well as your status as a full-time student along with your 2025 Student Information Form, W-9 Tax Form, and a video testimony.

  • The Deadline to submit these documents is Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 10:30 PM Central / 11:30 PM Eastern.

 

 

How to Renew Your Scholarship:

  1. Obtain your Official College Transcript (digital file) for the 2025-2026 school year.
    • Your Transcript must be a digital file that can be submitted to WASDA online.
    • WASDA will not accept paper copies of your Transcript.
  2. Fill out the 2025 Student Information Form and save it to your device.
  3. Fill out the W-9 Form (PDF) and save it to your device.
    • Please be sure to sign and date the document on page 1 under "Part II".
  4. Record a video testimony.
    • Please record a written or short video update on your studies and how WASDA may have been influential in your college journey.
      • Include your name, WASDA member company, which scholarship you received and what year, where you go to college, your major, and how this scholarship has been influential in your college journey / how it has helped you with your goals! One minute (or less) is fine!
      • If you cannot record or submit a video for any reason, please let us know at [email protected]. Please do not let this deter you from renewing your scholarship!
    • We welcome the opportunity to receive updates and will publish your highlights on WASDA's social media that is viewed by WASDA members, the WASDA Scholarship Board, and other key industry stakeholders. 
    • These video testimonies are incredibly helpful with educating WASDA members about the WASDA Scholarship Fund and how beneficial the scholarships are to recipients!
  5. Once you have you have completed steps 1-3, fill out the 2025 Renewals - WASDA Scholarship Document Uploads Form.
  6. Once your Digital Form is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email from [email protected]. The confirmation email may get stuck in a Junk/Spam folder.
    • If you would like additional confirmation, please reach out to WASDA at [email protected].
  7. Submit a Video Testimony to WASDA, if you cannot upload it to the Digital Form.
    • Please submit a written or short video update on your studies and how WASDA may have been influential in your college journey to us via email ([email protected]).
    • We welcome the opportunity to receive updates and will publish your highlights on WASDA's social media that is viewed by WASDA members, the WASDA Scholarship Board, and other key industry stakeholders. 
    • These video testimonies are incredibly helpful with educating WASDA members about the WASDA Scholarship Fund and how beneficial the scholarships are to recipients!
  • Notes:
    • Do not fill out the Digital Form until you have your Official College Transcript (digital file), Student Information Form, and W-9 Tax Form completed, downloaded, and ready to submit online.
      • Please complete the Digital Form in one sitting. The Form will not be saved if you begin the process and exit before submitting. Once the Digital Form is submitted, you will not be able to edit the Digital Form.
    • The WASDA Scholarship Digital Form (Document Uploads) is a secure platform. The required materials will only be reviewed by WASDA Staff.
    • Please contact WASDA at [email protected] if you are not comfortable with uploading these files to the Digital Form. We will provide an alternative option for you to send your files to WASDA digitally.

What Happens Next?

Once the WASDA Scholarship Fund reviews your Official College Transcript, your scholarship check will be generated and sent directly to the mailing address provided on the Digital Form at the end of July.
