What is the 2024 Timeline for Scholarship Applicants?
- March 11: Scholarship Applications open.
- April 8: Deadline for completed Matt Stager Memorial Scholarship application submissions.
- May 2: Deadline for completed WASDA Scholarship application submissions.
- June 12: All applicants will be notified of determinations.
- June 25: All required documents due back from winners.
- Scholarship money will not be issued until required documents are received by WASDA.
What are the 2024 Application Deadlines?

The WASDA Scholarship is open to those students who are in their last year of high school and are the children or grandchildren of employees of Distributor and Associate member companies of WASDA. The children/grandchildren of the selection committee are not eligible to apply during the committee member’s tenure.

The Matt Stager Memorial Scholarship is open to those students who are in their last year of high school and are the children or grandchildren of employees of Distributor member companies of WASDA. Scholarship Renewals - Previous Scholarship Winners
How do I renew my scholarship?
Both scholarships’ winners are eligible to renew their scholarship for three additional years should they continue meeting the requirements of maintaining full-time status as a student and a 3.0 GPA or higher. It is the responsibility of each student to submit their most recent official college transcript noting their GPA for consideration by the Selection Committee. Previous winners should aim to have a digital copy of their Official College Transcripts submitted online to WASDA by June 12, 2024. The Digital Renewal Form will be hosted here in June 2023. Please check back for more details in June 2024.
The WASDA Management Team will make every effort to contact eligible winners in the spring of each year. However, sometimes the contact information on file is no longer valid. It is the responsibly of each student to submit their most recent College Transcript noting their GPA for consideration by the WASDA Scholarship Fund Selection Committee. As a reminder, the scholarship is renewable up to three years based on maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.
